Desperately seeking bachelorette party supplies for my grandma’s wedding. Don’t laugh, people do get married in their 50s or later in life, and there’s no reason why they can’t have some old fashioned bachelorette fun.

The best part about organizing senior bachelorette parties is that these gals have a very clear idea what they want and what they like. Also, people in the wedding party have known each other for decades, so they share similar tastes and interests.

My grandma has been with grandpa since she was 16, but they only decided to tie the knot now, so we’re making a list of special moments in their life together, and will be sharing stories, pictures and videos during a makeup session.

But the real party will be a short trip to Paris. Nothing too fancy, just a weekend in a three stars hotel, reservations in some small and cozy restaurants, with a small budget set aside for shopping. It’s cheaper than you might think – and who knows when these girls will get another chance to spend a weekend in Paris together?
