tips for adjusting color density for your laser printer toners

Sometimes colors don’t behave as you’ve expected on the final result. This depends on a lot of factors – your printer, the paper used, if the cartridge is new or has been used for some time and so on, and it can happen with some of the best printers from top manufacturers. I’ve seen lots of people just throwing away their laser printer toners when this happens, and buying new ones – with more or less similar results.

Before you waste your money on new toners, try adjusting the color densities from your Configuration Page. It’s not the toner’s fault that you want something in bright colors, but the density is set too low. This option is also a good money-saving opportunity; if you don’t need very strong colors, you can reduce the density and the toner will last longer. Sometimes, playing around with densities will give you a whole new perspective on a project and can help you select the most appealing look for a page.
